Not yet available but they do say it could be available for caravaner's in the future.

Been watching this development for a while now

But it has been hinted that the version for everyday users would not carry a charge but it would not be updated all the time.

That said Tomtom are taking a slightly different tack these days. When you connect to home you are offered the latest map for your unit at a discount according to how old your map is then four quarterly updates to your map for a one of fee. Works out for Western Europe for my unit about £85. Not bad I guess if you want to keep to the latest maps. Plus I get to use the IQ routing plus Lane assist.

Then again I have just been quoted

or £7.95 a quarter

I use Navigator 6 on a PDA

Could be wrong Gray but are you sure it is not £39 for the update plus £7.95 a quarter that is what every one else is being told and charged Update to WE Ver 8.10+4 Quarterly payments for further updates.

Looks like they are not offering the same deal to PDA users the tight gits.
Good luck downloading it at that size mate.
Not even thinking of doing it at this time for my 920. 33 countries across Western and Central Europe 1974.5 MB. Could take a while :cry:

One thing is you can at least buy it on SD card or DVD we have to dowload it :cry:

lol yes can see your little problem. Can not see why they charge so much to get it on SD card though.
